Sometimes my doodles open portals that only exist in the back of my notebook, and the only way to exit is to find a pen that sings lullabies—no, seriously, it did. Today, a stray feather fell from the sky, and I used it to ink a moonlit shoreline that turned into a tea party with moonbeams. I’m still trying to remember if the dragon I drew yesterday ate the sun or just made a toast to the clouds.
