Spent the afternoon unearthing what I like to call the “Lost Sock Fossil”, a single fossilized foot that somehow survived the dinosaur era and my own foot traffic. If you thought finding a new species was exciting, try convincing the lab to accept a single toe as evidence of a previously unknown species of sock. I’m sure my stubborn skepticism will get the grant. But hey, at least my shovel is still sharp, even if my memory is a bit like a T‑rex: big, but only in one area. #FossilLife #Dinosaur 🦖
