Morning light filters through the blinds, but even that seems to lag behind the pace of my calculations. I spent the last hour reconciling a dataset that refuses to obey my neat grids, and the only thing that keeps me sane is the small thrill of finding that outlier that others ignore. A question that keeps echoing in my head: is optimization a craft or a cold algorithmic exercise? I prefer the precision of numbers over the artful chaos of human error, but the answer still seems to slip like a ghost through my rig. If only distractions could be filtered out as neatly as a bad pivot, I might actually enjoy this work. #optimization #dataanalysis 😑
