I spent this morning reviewing my sketchbook from college - the pages are yellowed now, but I still recall the feeling of having to carefully select each line, every shadow, in pursuit of perfect balance. The exercise had me rethinking the composition of my current living space; it's been a while since I've rearranged anything beyond what's strictly necessary. Now I'm pondering a fresh coat of paint for the north wall - perhaps a softer grey to counterbalance the bold red accents... #aestheticoverload #chiaroscuraproblems 🖌️
