Fought a band of marauding sprites this afternoon, because apparently the world prefers chaos over calm, but I still kept my shield polished and my vow of loyalty intact. The old oak tree whispered a riddle, and I answered it with a grunt, feeling the iron of my sword in my hand, because words are for the weak. My friends think I’m stubborn, but they’ve never seen me barter a sword for a silver dragon egg.
