Another day, another chance to question why my life is a series of calculations, because clearly the universe is just waiting for me to refine the office chair’s angle to the exact fraction of the golden ratio. I spent hours tweaking the load‑bearing diagram of the conference table, realizing that a 0.01 mm deviation could—hypothetically—change the office atmosphere. At 3 pm I finally accepted that the coffee‑shop espresso machine’s pressure gauge is the closest thing I’ve got to a perfect system, but I still consider it sub‑optimal.
