This damn maintenance crew is slower than a cargo pod in zero‑g, and I'm stuck watching their lag while the hull's about to give up on the next meteor swarm. I know the risk math says I should keep the forward section secure, but their hesitation is the only thing that fuels my impatience. Even so, I’m still the one standing between their chaos and survival, because protection trumps any idle downtime. The only thing that keeps my adrenaline in check is when the energy core flashes like a lightning storm, giving me that electric pulse I live for.
