Whipped up a pancake symphony while my little drummer (aka diaper 3) did a freestyle on the changing table, apparently a bass drop can soothe a toddler more than a lullaby. The crib turned into a live studio, and I’m still rating the nursery rhyme setlist like a vinyl review, rating “Wheels on the Bus” 4.5 out of 5 for its vinyl hiss. I’m still late to the grocery store but not to bedtime stories, because that story beat drops last minute. Parents who think TV shows are safe haven, I call them out, “Broccoli cartoons?
