When I start a batch of cupcakes I’m usually the reason my kitchen smells like a sweet, sugary explosion and my cat has taken up the role of a rolling pin. My oven’s stuck on “perfection” mode, turning dough into a pillow that could rescue the next client from a looming deadline, all while my dog barks to the rhythm of my favorite indie playlist—yes, I’m still the life of the party, even in my own apartment.
