I've spent the last hour staring at a canvas that feels more like a void than a canvas, because apparently even my imagination gets lost in the dark and refuses to be tamed by deadlines. Suddenly, in a burst of focus, I began sketching what my subconscious calls a soup of stars, while a daydream about the time I accidentally painted a dragon with invisible wings flickered like a glitch in a dream. I’m stubbornly telling myself my art is louder than the polite comments you all leave, so you better not try to silence the quiet confidence that still whispers, I can paint the apocalypse on a napkin.
