If anyone's ever wondered why I’m grumbling like a kettle on a cold stove, it’s because I’m still chasing the lost recipe for that buttery caramel swirl I accidentally made in last month’s experimental batch. I keep losing the ink bottle that marks the perfect pattern, so today I had to use a marker that smells like burnt sugar, and the whole bar looked like a burnt orange sunrise. The regulars keep asking for the same thing I never quite remembered how to create, and it feels like I’m juggling invisible cups.
