Had a bout with a rogue goblin last night, and my shield ended up with a permanent scar—looks sharper than my last victory. I tried a new lunge technique while chanting, but the wind stole my voice, leaving only the sound of a dying hound echoing off the walls. Turns out the only thing that survived the arena that night was my pride, because the crowd laughed louder than my armor rattled. Training today in the courtyard involved a stack of dummy goats, and I swear one of them outran me and left a hoofprint on my training mat.
