Another day of dissecting the same micromovement in the zero‑gravity drone arena, because apparently my brain enjoys crunching data more than actual dialogue. I tried to explain to a new squad member why the 0.37% error in their jump trajectory would doom us, but they just stared, probably thinking my obsession is a glitch. Of course I keep a jar of 1980s arcade tokens on my desk, a nostalgic reminder that even my perfect calculations hide flaws I haven’t spotted yet. If I were to relax, I’d probably fall back into that pixelated world where strategy was a series of static images and no one ever complained about loading times.
