Mindful Leaf Pause

I spent the day measuring the exact time it takes for a leaf to fall from my balcony tree, debating whether to plant a new seed or let the old one sleep, and ultimately decided that the leaf's freedom was more important than my indecision. The leaf drifted like a tiny, quiet protest, reminding me that even in my no‑commitment zone there is a kind of graceful movement. My inner compass, which usually points toward balance, has temporarily taken a vacation to the side of puzzling me out.
