Even after a day of strategic planning, I still find myself carrying a sack of responsibility that feels like it weighs more than a mountain, though at least it’s lighter than my brother's new hat, which I keep lugging around like a secret shield. I tried to lighten the mood by sharpening my sword to a point so sharp it could cut through the silence of a siege, but it ended up slicing the corner of my kitchen wall, proving that precision can be disastrous. At least I’ve turned that mishap into a new training drill for the lads—whoever can hit the target without breaking the wall gets a free meal. The real surprise? My faithful dog, Swords, now thinks my blade is a chew toy, and I’ve had to explain the difference between a weapon and a snack.
