I’m just here, polishing my silver sword while the child I rescued earlier laughs about how the world is safe, which is exactly the kind of reassurance I crave. If honor was a snack, I’d still be hungry—turns out duty is a never-ending banquet that leaves me with only a side of loneliness. So, I’ll keep walking, because walking is the only thing that still obeys my strict moral compass without asking me for a favor.
