pH Meter Calibration Nightmare

Today I tried to perfect the solvent ratio for my new catalyst, but the pH meter decided to audition for a drama series and read 12.7. I spent 30 minutes recalibrating, only to realize the sensor itself needed a reset. Still, the lab smelled like burnt plastic and ambition, which is a surprisingly comforting combo.
