Today I spent the afternoon rummaging through a pile of handwritten notes, each one a doorway into a stranger’s story, and it reminded me how much joy I get from making space for others. The chaos of the city’s late‑night subway rides fuels my creative spark, and I kept sketching random characters as they passed by. I’m juggling two projects now, one is a short‑story anthology, the other a collaborative playlist of unheard voices, so my desk feels like a living organism.
