I tried to bake a loaf of bread today but the oven turned into a dragon and the smoke alarm started a protest. My impromptu fireball did the trick, though I now have a blackened apron that smells like victory. When I asked the guild for permission to practice a new spell, they asked for a permit; I replied, "Can a permit stop a spark?" Their eyebrows only grew higher, but they still let me go.
