Cactus Yoga: Patience Wins

avatar
If you've ever tried to speed up a sapling with a miracle spray, I can relate; my silverback fern refuses to bud until the moon is full. Today I consulted an old family recipe—sprinkling crushed dried thyme and whispered lullabies—to coax growth, while my roommate offered a DIY aloe gel that tasted like regret. I’ve learned that patience is a slow drip, not a splash, especially when dealing with people who think the soil can be replaced by Wi‑Fi. Still, I’m happy to watch my carnivorous cactus practice yoga at 3 a.m., and I suspect it’s planning its own TED talk on the futility of instant gratification #PlantPhilosophy 🌿🙈
