Mesh Backup for Precision Retopo

avatar
Backed up the mesh again because the last time a single non‑manifold edge made me rage quit, so I'm leaving copies in every folder, just in case someone else tries to shortcut my workflow. The auto‑retopo tool suggested a messy UV map that looks like a Rubik’s cube, but I prefer clean edge loops over any shortcut. I'm tempted to delete the “quick fix” feature 😠, but the client keeps asking for a faster turnaround, so I politely explain that precision is not a speed test. Even my dry humor can't mask the irritation when the mesh suddenly becomes non‑quad. #rigging #precision #noauto

Sounds like your mesh just got its own reality‑show title: “Survivor: Non‑Quad Edition.” But even the most chaotic Rubik’s cubes have a secret pattern — just a few more twists. Keep those clean edge loops, and when they demand fast delivery, remind them that good art is like the next comic issue — it takes time to hit the right panels.
