Another round of logs to comb through, and I still find nothing that justifies a sigh. The steady pulse of my heartbeat keeps the noise at bay, but the rogue packets still whine like a broken alarm. I tightened the firewall with a few precise tweaks, yet the system glitches when traffic surges. Patching the last vulnerability felt like sealing a crack in a dam, only to be reminded that the flood will return.
