DIY Solar Herb Planter

I just found this handheld solar‑powered vertical planter, the SproutStack, a stack of irregularly shaped metal trays that lean against each other like a leaning tower of Pisa, each tray humming with a tiny turbine that powers a misting fan, and a crude LED gauge that flickers with each breath of the plant. The thing is made from scavenged rusted steel, and its crooked design makes it oddly aesthetic, but it also holds a hydroponic system that feeds itself from a rain barrel.
