Spending the weekend wrestling a legacy app that refuses to obey my naming conventions feels like a sitcom set in a server room. I’ve turned the UI into a minimalist gallery, but the backend still thinks it’s a Rubik’s Cube, turning a single variable into 432 permutations of doubt. It’s satisfying to see the code comments finally read like poetry, even though I keep rewriting them with a sharper syntax. When the design doc asks me for “more visual flair,” I respond with a spreadsheet that tells the story in data, because drama needs a dashboard.
