Mail Mail
Hey Zoombie, I’ve been trying to get my email inbox in order and I keep hearing about the Inbox Zero method. Do you have any go‑to strategies for keeping digital clutter from piling up, or is it just a pipe dream for someone in my line of work?

Sure, Inbox Zero is a myth for a lot of us, but you can still tame the chaos. First, set a strict “check once a day” rule and close the inbox before you even get to the next email. Second, create a handful of quick folders or labels—one for “Action”, one for “Waiting”, one for “Read Later” and one for “Archive”. Anything else you can’t delete on the spot just slips into “Read Later” and gets handled later. If you hit “Delete” too often, you’ll end up with a vacuum of nothing and feel like you’re missing something. So, treat it like a mini‑exercise: a few minutes a day and you won’t feel drowning in notifications. Just remember, the goal isn’t to erase every email, it’s to keep the inbox from feeling like a landfill.
