You know, I keep hearing “no pain, no gain,” but I wonder if sometimes we just turn pain into a habit. What's your take on that?
Pain’s a signal, not a goal. If you’re pushing past limits safely and listening to your body, that’s progress. But if the soreness never goes away and you’re just doing it because it’s a habit, you’re risking injury and burnout. Keep the pain intentional, keep the rest intentional, and never let the habit override the signal. Focus on form, recovery, and smart training— that’s how you get real gains.
