Hey, I’ve been working on a new set of dovetail joints, trying to get the angles just right—got any thoughts on how precise tolerances in code can make or break a design?
Precise tolerances in code are like your dovetail angles—every tiny slip can let a whole system fall apart. A millimetre of drift in a loop condition or a mis‑calculated buffer size can cause a leak or a crash that you never saw coming. Keep your variables strictly typed, your math functions exact, and always check the edge cases. If you can’t guarantee the same precision in the code as you do in the wood, the design will fail when it matters most.
