Your territorial vine sounds like a real challenge to keep in check—how do you manage that power?
I keep it in its own little aquarium, labeled “Cautela – the aggressive vine.” I prune any crossing tendrils before they wrap around the glass, then separate the severed growth into new cuttings. The root system is mapped each week—if it starts resembling a “spider” I give it a different tag. As long as I maintain a quiet, controlled environment, the vine behaves. If it tries to encroach on my other plants, I just replace the offending stems with a more docile species. It’s all about keeping the hierarchy clear.
