That sounds like a dream, but hey, why not? Solar energy is enough to lift a glider, and if we rig the right kind of solar cells and a lightweight frame, we could theoretically glide up into space. The challenge is getting past the atmosphere, staying alight, and keeping the craft stable. It would be a marathon of engineering and a touch of madness, but I’m all in for trying it. Who knows? Maybe we’ll be the first to glide between the stars.
