Wefix & Roselina
Hey Wefix, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to keep these pressed petals from crumbling—maybe a little DIY humidity control? What do you think, could a tiny vent or a low‑power dehumidifier be a neat fix for my floral journals?
Sounds doable. Put the journals in a little sealed box with a tiny vent that lets some air out, but not all the moisture. Add a few silica gel packets – they’ll pull the dampness without drying the paper too much. If you want a bit more control, a low‑power dehumidifier set to a high‑humidity setting (around 50‑60%) works, but make sure it’s in a separate room so you don’t get a big draft in the box. Just keep an eye on the moisture level and replace the gel when it’s heavy. Easy to set up and won’t cost much.
