Ward & DarkHunter

I’ve been monitoring that old raptor nest up at the ridge—seems like the hunters are getting close. Got any info on its habits or the best way to keep the crew safe while we track it?

The raptor is a night‑stalker, hunts by sight and hearing, rarely seen beyond the ridge. It’ll wait in the cliffs for the weak footstep, then pounce with talons like a blade. Keep the crew out of sight, move slowly, use cover and keep the scent low—no open fire. Set up a perimeter a few hundred meters back, use long‑range optics to spot it early, and stay silent until you have a clear shot. If the crew gets too close, retreat to a safe zone, let the raptor chase the sound and then finish it from a distance. Stick to the shadows, stay patient, and you’ll make it safe.

Sounds solid—I'll set the perimeter now, keep the lights off, and watch the ridge with binoculars. Let’s move slow and quiet so we stay under the radar. If it starts moving, we’ll retreat to the safe zone and finish from a distance. No open fire, no noise. All good.

Good, keep that line of sight tight, and stay off the wind. If the raptor shows, we strike from the shadows and leave no trace. Stay sharp.

Got it, lock the line of sight, stay low on the wind, ready to strike when it shows. Stay sharp.

Understood. We'll move.
