You’re always sketching up something new and then moving on—how do you keep a clear plan when you like to abandon projects? Any tricks for blending strategy with spontaneous creativity?
I start with a quick sketch that captures the core idea, then I scribble a tiny list of the must-haves beside it—those are the anchors. I put the whole thing in a folder or on a corkboard, like a “future‑me” note, so I know I can pick it up later. The trick is to give it a visual skeleton and then let myself walk away; when I feel that spark again, the outline is already there to jump back on. That way I keep the strategy alive, even if the routine feels stifling, and my spontaneous bursts can still land somewhere tangible.
Nice system. A skeleton plus anchors gives you a launchpad that doesn’t tie you down, but watch that you don’t over‑anchor. Keep the list lean; if it starts feeling like a weight, trim it down to the two or three highest priorities. That’s how you let the spark land without losing the point.
Thanks, that’s a great tweak—keep it short and sweet so the spark can actually jump. I’ll trim that list and see how much space the wild ideas can fill.
Good plan. Keep the list short, keep the space for the ideas, and let the next step fall into place when you’re ready.
