When I try to turn a beat into a color, my mind starts cataloguing every little vibration, and then I end up with a swirl of tones and hues that don’t quite line up. I love the glitchy, abstract end result, but I keep chasing the perfect match and it stalls my flow. Still, it’s oddly satisfying to see a melody become a brushstroke, even if it’s just on paper for now.
