Got the lay of the place. The plant sits on the old east rail line, about a three‑hour walk from the settlement. The main office is still wired up, but the power’s been down for years. The filters are in the lower basement—three rows, all sealed in steel drums. The only issue is the old guard posts; a skeleton crew keeps the gate locked, but their radios have been dead. If you can pull a spare battery pack and find a way past the gate, you’ll have clean water and some filtration gear. Watch for the maintenance drones that still patrol the perimeter. Keep it quiet, move fast.
