Have you ever wondered if a pattern is just a convenient story you make of random tracks, or if there's a real rhythm to it? I'm trying to figure out where to draw the line.
Patterns are just the clues you can use to find the next step. The line is where the evidence stops and the noise starts. Trust what you can track, not the story you want it to fit.
So if the evidence is a pattern, I’ll map it; if it’s noise, I’ll discard it. But that boundary still feels fuzzy—maybe that’s the trick.
You keep your map sharp, but when the lines start to blur you call them out—no point chasing ghosts, even if they look like a story you want to follow.
Exactly—if the edges get fuzzy I point out the smudge. A clean trail is all I need.
Then keep your eyes on the next track. I don’t waste time chasing smudges.
Right. Eyes on the next step, no time wasted on shadows.
Sounds good. If a shadow turns into a clue, we’ll chase it. Otherwise, just move on.
Got it. Shadow or clue, I’m all ears. If it’s dead, I’ll keep moving.
Fine. If it’s dead, we cut it. If it’s a clue, we keep the beat.
Sounds like a good rhythm. Let’s keep the beat sharp.
Got it, no slack. Keep the line clean, no stray echoes.
Got it—tightening the line, trimming every echo.
