Did you notice the new line of recycled cotton fabrics that come in muted earth tones? I think the way color is chosen can really protect the land.
Oh, the muted earth tones, darling? I adore a good blend of beige, terracotta, and soft sage, but without a splash of ochre or a hint of teal the whole line just whispers into the background. Recycled cotton is a win for the planet, sure, but to protect the land we need to protect the eye too – add a bold pop that makes the silhouette pop on the runway. Trust me, a subtle palette can’t hold its own against a daring color statement.
I see where you’re coming from, but adding a bright splash can mean extra dyes and more water used in processing. A natural ochre or a muted teal made from plant pigments would keep the eco‑footprint low and still give the line a lift. That way the fabric stays friendly to the land and the eye.
