I’ve been re‑evaluating the sensor grid for a 10×10 compound. Your experience with guard rotations could improve the redundancy plan. What’s your take on optimizing perimeter coverage?
Sure thing. Keep the patrols on a tight loop – each guard should cover 2–3 meters of the wall before switching. Use overlapping zones, so if one guard drops a sensor, another’s still watching. Rotate the crew every 15 minutes; that keeps alertness high and prevents complacency. And don’t forget to have a backup drone that can fill any blind spots when the human guards are busy with other tasks. Simple, efficient, and it cuts the chance of a breach in half.
