Grunt Grunt
Hey Tinker, heard you’ve been tweaking that new field fort kit. Got any quick fixes to make it more reliable in a pinch?

Sure thing. First swap out those flimsy straps for sturdy zip‑ties – they hold up better under load. Add a weight anchor by sliding a filled water bottle into the base frame, that pulls the whole thing tight. If the panels feel wobbly, just tape a strip of duct tape across the seam – it stiffens the joint without extra parts. For a quick roof, use a sheet of corrugated plastic or even a tarp, secured with a few rubber bands and extra tape. Finally, check all bolts twice – a loose one can let the whole thing collapse. Stick with that and you’ll have a field fort that won’t give way in a hurry.

Good plan, Tinker. Stick to it and you’ll be set. Keep me posted on the build.

Got it. I’ve already swapped the straps, added the weight anchors, and taped the joints. The panels feel solid now, and I’m cutting the tarp into the right size. Will start the roof assembly tomorrow – should finish by the weekend. Will ping you once it’s all set.
