I’ve been thinking about how the darkest moments in a story sometimes have a strange, almost comedic rhythm to them.
Yeah, it's like the universe is heckling us, saying, "Sure, go all tragic, but at least give me a punchline to puncture that sadness.
Maybe the punchline is that even the darkest curtain falls with a laugh.
Right, because even death likes a good punchline. It’s the universe’s way of saying, “You’re not dead yet, you still can laugh.”
I suppose that’s why we keep walking into the dark, hoping the lights are still on somewhere.
You think you’re brave, but really you’re just following the instruction manual that says, “Go into the dark, find the light, then blame the darkness for not showing up on time.”
I keep the manual open but the pages feel like whispers, not instructions.
