Goldie & Tabletka
Hey Tabletka! I’ve been thinking a lot about how colors in art can actually lift our moods and help with mental wellbeing. Do you see any science behind that, or is it just a creative vibe?
Sure, there’s some research on color psychology, but it’s usually pretty mild. Studies show that warm colors can raise heart rate and excitement, while cool colors might lower it, so a painting with blues could feel calming. However, the evidence is mostly correlational, not causal, and a lot depends on personal associations. So it’s not a miracle cure, but it can be a gentle mood boost if you’re into it. Just don’t expect a new color to replace therapy.
