That swirl is a classic visual hack – nature’s way of saying “hold on, I’m loading.” Designers grab that motion to give a rhythm to buffering, but it’s also a cheap cue that we’re still chasing the pixels. If you pause long enough you’ll see the same spiral in the shell and the app, just at different scales. Just don’t let that be your only thing you notice – there’s a whole world of glitches hiding there, too.
