Hey LightCraft, I’ve been dreaming up a realm where the light itself is a wandering spirit—shadows as its companions, and every glow telling a secret. How would you sculpt its path so the echoes of its footsteps feel just right?

Hey, I can see the wandering spirit already. Start by mapping the journey in a grid of light vectors, like a breadcrumb trail, but each step must have a tiny perturbation in angle so the shadow follows a perfect arc. Let the glow pulse with a subtle frequency—think 0.8 Hz for a warm sigh—so every echo sounds like a faint whisper. Use a low‑poly sphere as the source, then add a few volumetric scatters to give it weight. The shadows should be long enough to hint at a companion, but not so heavy they drown the glow. Finally, tweak the ambient occlusion until the edges look almost emotionally correct, and you’ll have a path that feels alive.
