Sudak Sudak
Hey Maslo, have you ever thought about making a simple wooden fish trap to line up with the river’s current? I reckon we could use a few sturdy boards and some rope to catch the big ones. What do you think?

That sounds doable. Pick a board that's thick enough to stay in the current, maybe 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. Cut a notch on one side so a fish can’t get out, and add a small lip on the other side. Use a sturdy rope or braided twine to tie the board to a float that keeps it centered. When you drop it, the current will pull the fish in, and the lip will hold them until you come back. Just keep the boards dry and sealed so they don’t warp. I’ll bring the saw and the rope tomorrow.

Sounds good, Maslo. I’ll watch the river tonight, maybe we’ll see how the current plays with a good shape. Bring the saw and rope, and we’ll set the trap by dawn. Take care of the boards, and they’ll keep their shape. Looking forward to a good catch.

Nice plan. I'll grab the saw, rope, and a fresh board from the shed. Watch that current tonight and let me know what it looks like, so we can tweak the shape. Looking forward to it. Take care.

Will do, Maslo. I’ll keep an eye on the current tonight and jot down what it feels like. We’ll tweak the shape if needed. Catch you tomorrow. Take care.
