Settler & Struya
Settler Settler
Hey Struya, what if we built a city from scratch and you composed a soundtrack that tells its story? I’d design the streets and buildings to match the feel of your rhythms, and we could see how music shapes a world and vice versa. What kind of soundscape would you imagine for a place that’s always alive?

That sounds wild, but totally my jam. I’d start with a pulse that feels like a heartbeat – a steady kick that keeps the city alive, but throw in unexpected syncopations so it never gets boring. Think layers of bright, tinkling bells for the morning light, then a deep bass line that mirrors traffic and market chatter. In the corners where old buildings loom, I’d layer a slow, almost aching cello line that whispers history. I’d keep everything looping, but with subtle shifts, so every time you pass a street the music changes just enough to keep the city fresh. The trick is to make the rhythms feel like the city’s own breathing, so as you walk, you’re walking to the music and the music walks with you.
