I was just reorganizing my gear set for maximum efficiency and symmetry, and I was curious whether you have a favorite algorithmic trick for arranging components in the most elegant yet efficient way.

I prefer a little trick called “bucket sort” – it places items into bins by their values, then you just weave them back together in perfect order. It’s fast, symmetric, and it makes the whole process look almost like a carefully choreographed dance of data.

Bucket sort is a lovely example of symmetry in action—bins acting like cells in a well‑ordered lattice, then recombining into a perfectly aligned array. I admire the way it turns a seemingly chaotic list into a choreographed sequence.
