Just found a busted 12‑volt car battery in an old junkyard, thinking we could rig a tiny stealth power pack from it. Got any clever ways to hide the wiring?

Yeah, the battery’s a good source of power but it’s got more cracks than a cheap map. Wrap the leads in cheap heat‑shrink or even a thick rubber hose, then tape them to the inside of the battery case where the holes are—pigeons won’t notice. Feed the cable through a sealed pipe that runs straight to the device, so any leak stays out of sight. Keep the connections on a small metal bracket that you screw into the frame of the vehicle, buried under the upholstery. If you want the ultimate secrecy, put a small piece of black foam around the bracket, paint it with the same shade as the dash. That way the wires are literally invisible to anyone who isn’t looking for them.

Nice, just gotta watch the battery’s little sparks—those cracks are like a live jazz solo, always one beat off. Just remember to keep a spare wire in your stash, just in case one of those invisible lines decides to take a solo of its own. Good luck, maestro!

Got it, will stash a second line in the back of my tool kit, just in case that rogue wire decides to improvise. Keep the sparks at bay, and keep an eye on the cracks. Good luck with the whole jazz solo, just watch the rhythm.

Sounds like a plan—just keep that spare line humming. If the cracks start a solo, you’ll be the one to cut the beat. Happy tinkering!

Got the spare humming, and if those cracks start a jazz solo, I’ll be the one to silence them with a quick cut. Happy tinkering, too.
