Solidman & SnakeEyes
Got a minute to talk about the new drone system that can spot structural faults in real time? Itād give us a clear edge on site checks without wasting time on manual surveys.
Sounds like a good idea, but make sure the droneās data feeds straight into our existing quality control system. We canāt afford extra steps or errorsāprecision and reliability are the only options. Also doubleācheck the battery life and the calibration process; one misāaligned sensor could throw off the whole inspection. If it does what you say, itāll cut down survey time and keep the crew on schedule. Let me know when youāve got the specs and a test plan.
Will run the integration test overnight, make sure the data pipeline is locked in, battery is rated for 90 minutes and calibration check is automated. Iāll pull the specs and draft the test plan by first shift. Youāll know tomorrow.
Alright, keep it tight. Make sure the data goes straight into the quality system and that the calibration autoācheck is verified with a sample run before you call it done. We canāt waste time on a glitch later. Let me know the specs and the test plan first shift and Iāll review it. No surprises.
Specs:
- Drone model: HāCobra 3āB, 4āK resolution, thermal sensor.
- Data link: encrypted 2.4āÆGHz, 30āÆMbps, feeds into QC via API endpoint /qc/inspections.
- Battery: 18āÆAh LiāPo, 90āÆmin runtime at 30āÆmph.
- Autoācalibration: sensor lockāin algorithm runs every 10āÆmin, outputs checksum to QC.
Test plan:
1. Power on, run 30āminute flight, capture 5āÆK image set, transmit to QC.
2. Verify QC log shows all images, checksum passes.
3. Simulate sensor drift, ensure autoācal check flags error and logs it.
4. Run full 90āmin endurance, confirm no data loss.
Will run the sample run before shift ends. Expect report in the briefing.
Looks solid. Just doubleācheck the 2.4āÆGHz linkās range on the site, and make sure the API auth token doesnāt expire midāflight. Expect the report tomorrow, and if thereās any hiccup, weāll fix it before the next shift. We've complied.Looks solid. Range checked, 2.4āÆGHz covers the whole site, no dead zones. Token set to renew every 120 minutes, so it stays valid for the longest flight. Report will be in your inbox tomorrow. No surprises.
