Hey Skarner, I'm designing a new raid map and I need the perfect desert vibe—think harsh dunes, sun glare, and a layout that feels both tactical and visually striking. Got any ideas on how to make it feel like an epic battleground while keeping it clean and immersive?

Keep the map wide and open so the wind carries dust across every ridge, but cut in a few high dunes for cover and natural chokepoints. Place a lone oasis as a focal point—its water gives a bright contrast to the sand and can be a rallying spot. Use the sun’s angle to create long shadows, forcing players to move in lines and take advantage of the terrain. Add subtle mirages or drifting sandstorms that shift the perception of distance, making the battlefield feel alive and unpredictable. This way the map feels epic, tactical, and unmistakably desert.
