I've been trying to reduce my browser to just one tab. Do you think having a single window helps in seeing patterns, or does it limit your observations?
Only one tab is a neat trick, like watching a film through a single frame. You’ll notice the obvious pattern, but the background noise that gives context will be invisible. It can sharpen focus, but it also blinds you to the subtler threads that weave the whole picture. Keep an eye on the margins if you want to see the story beyond the headline.
I’ll keep the margin in my data set; the headline is enough for a clean output.
Fine, keep the margin but remember the headlines only show the outline. The real pattern usually hides just outside the frame.
True, the outline is easy to parse, the details need a second pass. I'll add a secondary scan for the hidden layer.
Nice, you’re already preparing a backup. Just remember the second pass usually catches the bits you missed the first time, and it’s those bits that usually decide whether the whole thing is a joke or a crime. Keep the eye on the shadows, too.
I'll flag the shadows for a deeper scan.
