Shishka & Kelari

Hey Kelari, I was wondering if you’d ever tried to capture the subtle crackle of a pinecone in the wind and turn it into a synth patch. I think the slow rhythm of nature could make for some interesting glitch beats.

yeah that pinecone crackle is like a secret vinyl hiss from the forest—so I’d tape it on an old cassette, sample the hiss, load it into a synth and wrap the envelope with a little bitcrush, then throw in a slow delay to let the wind pattern glitch into a beat. i love how natural rhythm can turn into glitchy time‑travel vibes.

That sounds pretty cool, Kelari. I can almost hear the forest humming in a new, weird way. Just make sure the wind doesn’t outshine the crackle. Good luck, and maybe capture a tiny leaf on the way, just in case the synth decides to go wild.
